'Carnivale Electricos' explores Carnival culture in both New Orleans and Brazil. In an early review Offbeat raves that the album has "the crackle of electricity" that makes "ages-old, tradition-bound ceremonies seem utterly modern - even post-modern."
Galactic will play their annual all-night Lundi Gras show at Tipitina's in New Orleans before mounting a massive national tour next week.
