For the past three years, 23-year old John Fullbright has built a rabidly enthusiastic fanbase in and around his home state of Oklahoma, where he's now selling out every local show. Fullbright makes his national debut next week, starting with a Mountain Stage taping on March 11 and followed by eight SXSW shows in venues ranging from a cathedral to a fried chicken shack.
Fullbright has just begun to make his mark, but his spellbinding performances have already earned him some heavy duty fans. "I have no doubt that in a very short time John Fullbright will be a household name in American music," legendary songwriter Jimmy Webb said.
Fullbright releases his debut album 'From the Ground Up' (Blue Dirt/Thirty Tigers) on May 8th. More details soon.
