Hill Country Live, DC's go-to destination for Americana and roots music, has just confirmed Austin's Band of Heathens for April 3. This follows Hill Country Live's wildly successful showcase at SXSW featuring Shooter Jennings, Ray Wylie Hubbard and more that earned raves from No Depression. Next month, the Country-rock continues with Chris Knight April 27, and many more.
Band of Heathens - 4/3 - The Austin-based band got its start at the legendary Austin club Momo's, and has since produced 6 albums, performed on PBS' Austin City Limits, earned multiple nominations from the Americana Music Awards, and toured relentlessly including stops at Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and more.
Chris Knight - 4/27 - So popular in the Lone Star state that the Governor declared him an "Honorary Texan," the Kentucky-born Knight is a hit making performer, with his newest album 'Heart of Stone' hitting number 7 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, and has written hits for Montgomery Gentry, Randy Travis and more.
